Our client is looking for up to a Commercial Claims Technician, Cert CII or Cert CILA qualified, to work out of their West Malling office handling a portfolio of commercial (material damage, stock and business interruption) claims up to £100,000 in support of the external Loss Adjusters. You will typically liaise with loss adjusters, brokers, policyholders & third parties, reporting directly into the Branch Manager. You have previous household claims handling experience and be able to use your own initiative in order to resolve complaints or queries. Our client, an international manufacturing business, is looking to recruit a Management Accountant to join a very busy manufacturing operation in Exeter. Reporting into the Financial Controller and working in a small team, this is a hands-on and challenging role with exposure to senior management and the opportunity to add value and make improvements to the running of the finance function. This role will be responsible for the preparation of Monthly Management Accounts and carrying out detailed analysis on Sales and Profitability of the business unit. As the Management Accountant you will be responsible for, but not limited to; * The Production of the monthly management accounts * Profit and loss * Balance sheet analysis * Accruals and prepayments * Balance sheet reconciliations * Preparing Weekly and Monthly analysis * Forecasting performances and ad hoc duties as required The successful Management Accountant will be comfortable working within a fast-paced environment both within and outside of the finance department. They will be advanced in problem solving, have excellent organisational skills and demonstrate a people focused approach. Essential to be considered: * Part qualified accountant ACCA/ACA/CIMA * Substantial prior line management experience-: proven team leader with demonstrated ability to develop, motivate others and effect a positive change * Experienced in all Microsoft packages, especially Excel * Sage or Quickbooks Accounts experience preferable Essential Skills: * Well-presented and confident candidate who can articulate verbally and by written presentation. * Ability to express complex ideas in a clear and straightforward manner * Must be able to take ownership and manage their own workflow with minimal input from management * Set their own goals and plan how to achieve them * Must appreciate the demands of working within a growing business and remain solutions focused.
