Revit Technician (Building Services) - North London

Revit Technician (Building Services) A medium sized MEP building services consultancy based in Islington are looking for a Revit technician to join their experienced team to work on a variety of projects including residential, commercial and retail projects across the UK. The work will be 90% Revit & 10% 2D AutoCAD. Duties include: - Preparing Architects' drawings for use as references. - Amending 2D drawings (including schematics) to Engineers' mark-ups. - Producing co-ordinated, multi-service 2D drawings with minimal instruction. - Liaising directly with Engineering team to ensure they meet client needs and projects are delivered on programme. - Issuing drawings. - Externally you will be required to liaise with Clients, Architects and Contractors, maintaining good business relationships with all members of the team. - Modelling/ co-ordinating Mechanical and Electrical services within risers and corridors in Revit. - Modelling/ co-ordinating plant rooms in Revit. - Creating Revit families as required. - Setting up Revit drawing sheets Required Experience: - Multi-disciplined (Mechanical & Electrical). - 1-2 years' FULL TIME MEP Revit experience - Minimum 3 years' AutoCAD experience. - Minimum 2 years' experience in similar multi-discipline role within building services. - Applicant must have a good grasp of building services Favourable Attributes: - Live within easy commute to the company. - Experience of commercial plant room design & district heating systems. - Experience of residential projects. Property Consultancy Opportunity! A Development Surveyor is required to consult and advise on a wide range of development projects across, primarily the residential sector.. The role requires a qualified surveyor with experience of development appraisal, development advisory, acquisition and disposal work, and ideally legal agreements and OJEU partner procurement processes. You will deliver the projects by: * Undertaking physical and financial appraisals of mixed-tenure and mixed-use development sites; * Working with financial analysts, inputting into and appraising financial models; * Advising Local Authorities, developers and landowners on affordable housing and S106 viability issues; * Assisting with OJEU partner procurement processes on major residential-led mixed-use projects; * Assist in preparing formal reports and valuations endorsing the terms of sale/purchase; * Liaison with Local Authorities, developers and private landowners; * Co-ordinating sub-consultants in the provision of technical survey and consultancy advice to support residential-led mixed-use projects.
