We are currently recruiting for a LGV/Cat CE driver for our client based in the Markham Vale (J29a) area of Chesterfield, Derbyshire. The work involves delivery of packaging materials on a nationwide basis with collections on the way back to the yard. This is an ongoing contract working weekends, with around a 0600am start, shifts will be a minimum of 8hrs per shift. Pay Rates- Saturday - £16.00ph Suunday - £18.00ph Rates displayed are LTD, but we are happy to accept PAYE drivers too. Steam Turbine Engineer – Power Stations Nottinghamshire Up to £60,000 + Benefits Introduction… We are currently recruiting for a Steam Turbine Engineer / Mechanical Engineer / Rotating Plant Engineer to work for a global power generation company on a 2000MW Power Station, located in Nottinghamshire. Focusing primarily on the maintenance and engineering strategy of the Steam Turbine and Balance of Plant, you’ll be providing technical support on site and across the fleet of assets. Roles & Responsibilities Reporting directly to the Steam Turbine Team Leader as Steam Turbine Engineer you will be responsible for: * Providing on site and fleet wide support on all aspects of Steam Turbine and Balance of Plant equipment. * Assisting during Balance of Plant outages or on new build projects across the gas, energy and industrial sectors. * Developing maintenance and replacement strategies. * Overseeing outages, integrity assessments, inspections and audits. * Involvement with new and retrofit projects. * Supervising and working alongside contractors. A fantastic job opportunity has recently come on the market working for a world leading renewable energy company as a Contract Manager. As a Contract Manager you will be working on an exciting offshore project, which will involve overseeing projects from the start through to completion and ensuring that work is completed on time and within budget. Working closely with the Project Delivery team, Procurement, and Legal to ensure that requirements are sourced from suitable suppliers and negotiating appropriate contractual and commercial arrangements that fully consider the most appropriate risk allocation. Further duties of a Contract Manager include: •Providing leadership on key commercial risks under existing offshore supply chain contracts and managing high value contract claims and variations. Development and implementation of contract strategies for offshore wind projects in order to maximise value for money and mitigate risk. •Working closely with the Procurement team to prepare invitations to tender for high value and complex contracts that clearly set out the company’s technical and commercial requirements, liaising with the Legal team and more senior team members as required to determine the most appropriate form of contract; •Evaluating the commercial aspects of tender submissions and making recommendations to the Project Delivery team, Procurement team, and Senior Management. Leading the negotiation of the commercial aspects of key contracts in the project to deliver the Company Business Plan objectives, including the mitigation of commercial risk. •Ensuring the compatibility of technical and commercial elements by supporting the preparation and negotiation of technical schedules •Undertaking contract reviews and advising Project Delivery team on how to interpret and apply key contract provisions on the day-to-day operational clauses of contracts; providing analysis of commercial issues post-contract, preparing notes of advice and commercial drafting for post-contract claims and variations. •Providing contract administration support to Project Delivery team during construction and operational phase. •Liaising with Contract Management Team colleagues on other contracts/projects to ensure sharing of knowledge and consistency of approach.
